TBT - Face to Face with the Wilderness

This adventure was lots of fun! Sometimes it isn’t a bad idea to be closer to nature(and bugs and critters). We traveled to a state park to go on girl’s camping trip with my mom. Together we(meaning my mom) put up a tent which didn’t take long! Before exploring, we settled by the campfire to make some pizza mountain pies. Yum! They were delicious, but the desert ones didn’t work out so well.

The three of us then loaded up with some bug spray for the night and went into our sleeping bags to go to bed(on our luxurious cots). We are practically the next survivor man. At the crack of dawn(more like noon) we took our water color kits to the lake to paint the beautiful scenery and nature at the lake, and our end products turned out better than expected. Overall, it was a fun, little camp outing.
