Avengers Endgame Review (SPOILERS!)

Wow! Where to start! It had us in tears in the first five minutes. It made us both laugh and cry, and we were on the edge of our seats the whole time! Everything was really unexpected, and entertaining for the whole 3 hours! In fact, it didn't feel as long as it was, and we wish it wouldn't of "ended". By this time everyone should of seen Endgame(I mean it's been over a week), but if for some reason you haven't, go see it. It's absolutely AMAZING! We saw it on the second day it was out, and we accidentally purchased 3D tickets which made it 10 times cooler...It felt like it was happening right in front of us!!! Here are our thoughts on the movie...

***Entering SPOILER zone***

It Started right after "the snap" at Clint's home with his children and wife outside, and then they suddenly disappear(due to the snap). This is when I started crying, but at least no one could tell because of the 3D glasses. Back in space Nebula and Tony where running out of air, and the writers made it seem like Tony died(more crying). All of the sudden, out of nowhere Captain Marvel comes to save the day. Man this was an emotional roller coaster from the very start of the movie. They go find Thanos to get the stones back, but... he destroyed them. Thor finally aims for the head and kills Thanos. After this, the Avengers break up(like the Beatles) again and go back to their own lives.

Although all hope was lost, Natasha was determined to get everyone back because they were her only family. At this point 5 years have passed, and Ant Man came out of the quantum realm because a rat accidentally activated the system(It's crazy to think the future relied on a rat), but it only felt like 5 hours to him because the time is different. He comes to tell the Avengers that there might be a way to get everyone back. At first, Tony wasn't on board because he still had a daughter and his wife and was selfish do to the fact that he didn't realize what others had lost.

Anyways, they gather the team up. Thor is now a drunk video gamer which added much needed humor to the seriousness of the movie so far, and Hawkeye has gone to the dark side after losing everything. Banner decided to stay in his Hulk form as well(I guess you could say he came at peace with his Hulk side). Unfortunately, they couldn't exactly figure out time travel, but Tony did, and came back because he figured it would be the right thing to do(he also missed Peter Parker/"his son").

They split up into teams to go back in time to certain times and locations to get the stones, so they can do the snap to reverse the effect. Although, they know that this can alter the future, and they have to return the stones when it's done, so they had to be extremely careful. In New York the stone is taken by Loki which possibly created a different past time line, so they had to make a plan b. Natasha and Clint fight over who the sacrifice will be to get the soul stone, but it ends up being Natasha(more crying). Most surprising was that present Nebula's thoughts connected with past Nebula which is how past Thanos finds out about their plans. The Nebulas switch places(soooo unexpected).

With all the stones, Banner does the snap because he is the only one on the team that can do the snap with a chance of surviving. We knew it worked because Clint got a call from his wife. Seconds after this event, the past Thanos comes to the present time, and completely blows up the Avengers building. The team fight his armies while trying to keep the stones away from him giving it all they have. We then found out that Captain America is worthy of Thor's hammer(this was teased in Avengers Age of Ultron). Avengers start popping out of the Dr.Strange's portals, and Captain Marvel shows up out of nowhere once again. This time tho, she destroys the enemy's ship within seconds.

The stones eventually get to Tony, and Dr.Strange gives him the finger(not the middle finger) indicating that this is the one chance. He snaps which caused all the villains to go back to their time including "past" Thanos. Sadly, the beloved character, Tony dies because he could not contain the power. Pepper and Peter Parker say their goodbyes as he's dying(more crying). Captain America when returning the stones decides to stay back with Peggy for the dance, and comes back old because of the time difference. He passes the torch aka his shield to Falcon.

There is then a funeral service for Tony, and the teen that no one recognizes is the kid in Iron Man 3 that had helped Tony. There is NO end credit scenes, but there IS a noise. It's the noise of Tony making his Iron Man suit from the first movie. Maybe this means his daughter will take his place like in the comics??? I mean his daughter was even wearing one of his masks at one point in the movie. Overall, Avengers Endgame was an EPIC movie, and you might find us in the theater watching it again.
