5/5/19 - Getting Dirty

Today us girls got down in the dirt and weeded my entire flower bed. If you saw a before and after pic, you wouldn't believe your eyes. It was a complete transformation. No joke. We are total beasts in the garden if I do say so myself. Little "Groot" as seen in the pictures below took a good 30 minutes alone to pull it out of the ground, and left one massive hole. Good thing we have the muscles for it. Elaina did an excellent job perfectly cutting the bushes into round balls with the trimmers, she'll be doing your garden next. Although, it's a shame she didn't make an epic face sculpture or weird shape of any sort, but there is always next time. We both agree that we have not been this dirty in awhile, but we had fun while doing it. Listening to "oldies" also helped the time go by, although we took frequent breaks. Eventually, all the hard work paid off in the form of cash and ice cream. Too bad the boys gave up and were done after the first five minutes(lol). Since all the weeds are now gone onto the mulch and flowers just in time for Mother's Day.
