4/5/19 - Shazam!

OMG! Today a miracle happened!!! A brand new ice cream store opened only a few blocks away from our houses!...And it had free ice cream till 5! Good thing we had a mom that was willing to speed us there for this one time deal on their grand opening day. We got there just in the nick of time with 15 minutes to get to the front of the line that looped around the whole entire store. Even the parking lot was completely packed.

With only 10 minutes to spare we kept looking down at our phones for the time as we inched closer to the endless ice cream options. We made it to the counter with 1 minute left like the Mission Impossible movies... but quite anticlimactic. After all the worry about free ice cream, we ended up getting two scoops because the small was wimpy. At least it was still discounted...and delicious!! We ended up choosing their amazing chocolate and strawberry chocolate chip flavors. It was soooooo yummy, and we will probably go back way too many times.

Next stop on our Friday night adventure was a hike to the galleria for a movie (burning off those ice cream calories). Before we went into the movie, we got our second dinner(the ice cream was our first). We had a brilliant idea of getting a large mac n’ cheese(Our favorite food!!!), but couldn’t finish it because we had just had ice cream. After that , it was off to the massage chairs, but they weren’t as good as the ones at the mall...mall massage=8, galleria massage=6.5.

We then decided to get pictures with the Easter bunny there which we were going to waste all our money on. Luckily, the Easter bunny’s helper was extremely nice and took some for free on our phones. Honestly it was just for the blog, but it brought back goodish memories of a six foot person in a stuffed suit and a laugh. After that we crashed on a couch in the display window of a furniture store acting like mannequins, but it didn’t exactly go as planned.

We grabbed our tickets and a gigantic bag of popcorn smothered in butter to share, and proceeded to the movie, Shazam. We invited a couple more friends as well, the more the merrier. We were all especially excited because the trailer looked really hilarious. During the movie, we were the people laughing anxiously in the theater(Sorry). It was an excellent choice, and we totally recommend it. A good superhero movie is never a bad option.

We were so distracted we only finished half of the popcorn, when it’s usually completely gone before the actual movie because we tend to eat it all during previews. We still need to see Captain Marvel before Avengers Endgame comes out, but we didn’t want to push our luck after our first attempt(see blog #1). We still are yet to get our call from back from Fandangle. Overall, it was a productive Friday night out. Now it’s time to go home and crash on the couch.

Love all of the pictures, but my favorites are with the Bunny and the picture with the hats. Happy girls!
