About Anna Slocum

       Hi, I'm Anna. I am the third generation of Slocum's to live in Mount Lebanon. I've always been athletic, but I decided to stick with music in high school, and not play competitive sports because both required a lot of time. In the marching band, I'm in percussion, and Elaina joins me on the field and in the stands doing color guard. Growing up I played softball, basketball, and volleyball. Volleyball was my favorite and for several seasons, I was on club teams. Now, I enjoy playing all sports with my friends for fun. During my free time, you can find me trying to learn a new song on the ukulele or baking something in the kitchen. I have always loved nature and the outdoors, I'd even consider myself a tomboy when I was younger. History has always been my favorite class because I love learning about the world around us.

       I currently live with my mom, and my brother because my parents are separated. Soon it will be just the two of us because my brother will be off to college. I'm trying to persuade my mom to get a dog so it won't be as quiet around here. It's not getting too far, but I will keep ya'll updated. The rest of my family lives in either Ohio or South Dakota. Another fun fact about me is that I recently picked up a new skiing hobby about two years ago. I am not that good yet, but you can occasionally catch me  inching my way down a black diamond slope. In my future, I see myself as a teacher, because I love working with children. Hope to provide creative and original content for you with the help of my best friend.
